What are your thoughts on how the latest proposed amendments to the Irish Firearms Acts - as contained in the Criminal Justice (Misc.Provisions) Bill 2009 - contravene the EU directive on Firearms (91/477/EEC) by requiring all Irish firearms owners to only purchase ammunition or firearms from Irish registered firearms dealers instead of the current (and in force since 1964) laws that allow them to purchase from any registered firearms dealer in the EU so long as the appropriate paperwork is in place?

With the recent transfer of seafood marketing from BIM to Bord Bia, do you forsee other opportunities for integration of seafood into the agendas of other agencies currently working with wider food industry? As you know, BIM are in the process of completing their new facility in Clonakilty where companies are expected to travel for all seafood services even though the marketing direction now resides in another agency. We should perhaps look for opportunities for closer collaboration between agencies and utilisation of existing resources, facilities and staff rather than spend even more money on new facilities.
