30.05.2009 Question sent by Mc	If elected, what pressure can I expect you to put on the European parliament to force the Irish Government to afford the same rights to children born of same sex couples as to children born to heterosexual couples? At present, should anything happen my partner, my child could be taken away from her other mother; I cannot adopt my child who adores me, nor can I leave her anything substantial in my will without risk of it being contested by my homophobic family.
